Our journey at East West Film begins under the radiant Balinese sun, where we are driven by the vision of blending two distinct worlds to create something entirely new. While our origins may be rooted in different corners of the globe, we are united by our shared passion for storytelling in all its visual forms.
In the East, we find a philosophy centered on intuition and spiritual insight, while the West champions reason and logic. Renee Ruben is a versatile director, writer, producer, and creative director with over 9 years of experience in the media and film industry. Her background in Media, Marketing & Publishing, and formal training from the Film Academy, combined with her true storytelling talent, make her a force
to be reckoned with. She is equally adept at crafting beauty, fashion, lifestyle commercials, films, and documentaries, showcasing her impressive range of skills.
Renee’s expertise spans beauty, fashion, lifestyle commercials, films, and documentaries. Splitting her time between The Netherlands and Bali, she crafts and directs visually stunning and emotionally resonant content that captivates audiences.
In 2022, Renee published her first poetry book, “She is a Poem,” which showcased her talent beyond visual media. Her second book, set to launch at the end of 2024, will further cement her reputation as a multifaceted artist and storyteller.
